As-Built Drawings:
Field measurements, site verification and photography, CAD drawings.

Facility Management:
Programming, data collection, database management, field measurements, CAD drawings.

Documentation Consulting:
Drawing cleanup, documentation systems, CAD standards, production drafting procedures.

What We Do:

1. Your original paper or electronic documents are logged into our office to allow us to track all documents and log each step of the conversion / revision process.

2. Our staff reviews your project’s special requirements and a representative will contact you immediately if your project requirements are not completely understood.

3. During the conversion / revision, each entity is placed on the appropriate AIA or custom layer, and any blocks supplied by the client are incorporated into drawing. The result is a dimensionally accurate, layered DWG file.

4. The electronic file enters Level 4-QA where it is visually compared to the hardcopy original document. Once Level 4-QA testing is completed the files are ready to be distributed to the client.

5. The completed electronic files are prepared for electronic transfer or email.

Compression: Files are written onto a floppy disk or prepared for Internet FTP or email transfer using a self-extracting ZIP compression format. PKZIP or WinZIP applications are used to compress each file for economical file transfers.

6. Hilton Services creates a package to be returned to the client. The package includes all documents requested by the client including final electronic files on media, original hardcopies (if requested), invoice, etc. Upon request by the client, the paper documents can be returned or destroyed. Electronic CAD files can be destroyed or archived by Hilton Services for future needs by the client.

What Procedure Do I Use?

Please include all special requirements that may apply to your project such as custom layering standards, title blocks, fonts, etc.

Originals vs. Copies: Copies are preferred except in cases where the text or line work on the original document is very light and an adequate copy would be difficult to reproduce.

Hardcopy vs. Electronic TIF: Hardcopies are preferred for clarity. We will also accept TIF images (via email or FTP), however, an additional +10% is added to the hourly price of each file.

3. Upon completion of your order, Hilton Services will return the CAD files to your office via email, Internet FTP, CD-ROM, or floppy disk. Your original hardcopy documents will be returned to your office upon request.
